Full Dog Portrait Session Breakdown: Start to Finish
1. Pre-Session Brainstorm
Each furry client is sent an online briefing form to introduce themselves and for you to list any ideas and concerns for the dog photo shoot. If you have any special requests or ideas, I’d love to hear them! We can schedule a time to discuss the creative aspects of the shoot and I can share some useful tips to help your dog relax, look their best and enjoy the session. We will choose a date and time and confirm the booking.
2. Photo Shoot Day
It’s your dog’s shoot day! We’ll meet at the location and create as much of our pre-session ideas as we can. Maybe today they’re not on their best behavior but trust I will capture their best self and you will have a fun collection of images for keeps.
3. Post Session Reveal
Images will be returned within 14 days of photo shoot day. I will send a link to an online gallery where you can download digitals and order prints or keepsakes, if you like. There’s no better way to fill the walls of your home than with Art of your pet that will last forever!
*Behavior / Temperament
Your pet doesn’t have to be well-trained or sit perfect for a good dog portrait session. I have the experience to work with a range of personalities, behaviors and temperaments of both cats and dogs.

Why PETS IN THE WILD Photography?
My portrait sessions are designed so dogs and their owners can create memories, moments, and pieces of Art together to cherish forever! I love to include special items which have meaning to you and your pet, to look back on and remember fondly.
About Me (the Photographer)
My name is Heather Schor and I am the pet photographer behind Pets in the Wild Photography. I have several years of experience studying and working with both cats and dogs. This is my Calico cat, Trixie, she’s been with me for 7 years and drove across the country with me and a dog. I have two permanent cats and work with fosters. I love all animals and would love to meet and photograph yours!
My Style
The images and approach for my personalized pet portraits sessions are relaxed, natural and candid. I love shooting Documentary style and letting the pet do their thing to create photographs that genuinely represent their personality and your bond.
Capture special moments to enjoy and remember forever.
Because pets are family, too!
